A MOTHER'S SORROW

by Keshia Brady   Oct 17, 2007

Looking down from heaven
Seeing the world
She starts to cry
The rain begins to fall
She sees her family
She sees her children
She sees her husband
They seem fine on the outside
Deep down they're sad
Through the night they weep
They can't sleep
They toss and turn
She's no longer there to soothe their pains
She's no longer there to wipe their tears
The sky darkens
Thunder begins to roll
Lightening splits the sky
She enters their dreams
She holds them wiping their tears
She's only an image to them
But her touch is real
Her love is real
Nothing about what she says
Or what she does is fake
Everything is real
All of it
She may not be there in body
She is there in spirit
Her children sleep
Their tears are dry
For now they know that
She's still there with them
They know now that she won't leave them
She resides back tot heaven
Looking down on the world she sees
Things have changed
Her children are laughing
Her children are happy
They know she's watching them
They know she's there
Her husband is sleeping better
He's evening working again
He's no longer crying
Looking down
The skies clear
She's no longer worried
She's rests easier
She now can enjoy heaven for all it's glory.
