Mistakes.

Times passes by,
flowers blooms and soon to wilt,
a person lived, will soon die,
but here i stand, here i remain,
unchanged.

shadows of my past,
have blurred the visions of my future.
my wrongdoings, my mistakes,
my unforgiving sins,
they stick with me,
till i plan to change.

but what is a plan without a hope?
and what is hope without faith?
what is faith without courage?

i see the answers and solutions,
yet here i stand,
still,
stagnate,
as i lose my way back home again.

I've drowned myself in a direful world,
success and freedom,
they've blinded my eyes
while crucial desires
they've drove me oblivious
still i go on with this life,
senseless and unconscious.

i cry out to you in my hours of need,
but other times, it is not You that i seek.
my obligations to You I've left too far behind,
the biggest mistake I've done in my life.

as i arouse from this afflictive illusion,
i brace myself and arrange my life back as it was
i pick up the pieces and arrange them into place
i wave goodbye to the censurable old days.

and here i stand before You,
alone, weak and remorseful.
my heart is full of affliction,
and my eyes full of tears,
i raise my hands up on the air,
as i plead for Your tender forgiveness.
