Heaven As a Pair

A woman about 25
Laid down in her bed
With her head on her pillow
Soaked with all her tears she shed

Nobody even knew
That at night she would cry
Nobody even thought
That she wish to die

Everybody knew what happened
Late that rainy night
In the car with her fiance
Then came the headlights

She was driving
When the crash came on the news
She blamed herself for killing him
But nobody even knew

For a couple of days
She did cry
But after a few weeks
She lived a perfect lie

After a few weeks
She seemed okay
She smiled and laughed
And wore his ring till this day

She got so lonely
Late one night
She just cried
And held her pillow tight

His stuff was in place
As if he was still there
She couldn't throw it out
Because she still cared

Her tears took control
And she wanted to take her life
So she want tot he kitchen
And found his favorite knife

She took hi knife
And stabbed it in her heart
As if he was doing it
By paying back his part

They found her on her bed
With the knife jammed deep
Deep into her heart
So she could never weep

All around and drenched with her blood
Were the pictures they once shared
But now everybody knows
They are in Heaven as a pair
