Light and Dark

by Jacqueline Fifer   Oct 19, 2007

I feel lost in a place i once loved.
I feel alone in a room surrounded by strangers people i once knew well.

But now that the light of a
little nine year old girl is out so is everyone
and everything i once knew and thought.
Her light was as bright as rays of golden sunshine and could never die. Like birds that fly in the sky so did her dreams. She never lost hope or faith.

But on a cold day in October someone decided her light had to be turned off permanently. And when was turned off they ran.

Now all is dark
and all will be dark until her light can come back
so all will be dark forever.
