Little girl

by Kirsty   Oct 22, 2007

Little girl sitting all alone,
The location of her heart unknown,
Her tears flow in silence,
She longs for someone elses presence.

Little girl leaning against the wall,
How could the world have been so cruel,
Her head is in her hands,
She cocould meet all of the demands.

Little girl was never good enough,
Life had always treated her pretty rough,
She wonders much longer she can take it for,
Before her soul hits the floor.

Little girl has given up trying to fight,
She cries herself to sleep every night,
Into a fearful sleep,
Where nightmares run deep.

Little girl standing in the rain,
The pain driving her insane,
She screams inside her head,
Wishing that she was dead.

Little girl has a tear stained face,
Happiness gone from her without a trace,
She looks at herself in the mirror,
And the answer coulcouldave been clearer.

Little girl only asked for someone to care,
Someone to love her and have dreams to share,
Though no one ever came,
And she forgot herself even her name.

Little girl is not still here today,
Because of all those words people didnt say,
She left us for another place,
Will she just be another forgotten face.

Little boy standing at a grave,
Holding back tears trying to be brave,
He had loved little girl so much,
He had always longed for her touch.

Little boy will never get to see her again,
He had known her since they were ten,
And no matter what will occur,
He will never forget her.

Little boy will miss her sweet smile,
And her funky hairstyle,
He will remember how she smelt,
And the way she felt.

Little boy will think of her every night,
He will wish he could put things right,
And bring her back to life,
To put an end to her strife.

Little boy can still feel her with him,
And even though he feels grim,
He knows he will see her again,
In a place with no pain.

Little boy will meet her there,
He will tell how much he does care,
And say all the things he wanted her to know,
Washing away her everlasting sorrow.

Little boy dreams of that day,
He knows what he will say,
He will never break their eternal bond,
Till he is with her in the world beyond.
