Endangered

by Teila   Oct 24, 2007

Nows the time
for all to go
walking slowly
through the snow.

The time for melting
grass green shows
little paw prints
row by row.

Silent airs
growing roots
flowers blooming
an owls hoot

As paws pound
earths new ground
they run to save their lives

Not is all it seems
when man comes and cuts them clean.
Light shines down
slowly rise
got away from life's cruel crimes.
