Wait for a Rainy Day

by Nathan Collins   Oct 24, 2007

She and I sit in the rain
On a concrete bench
Under a weeping willow
I tell her in words so plain
That I love her
And I always will
So I sing that song to her again
With my rain-soaked guitar
Telling her I am so willing
To move with her to Spain
In marriage, leaving our woes behind
Only now...I ask her if she will.
