Doorway to Forever

by Loki   Oct 25, 2007

Rustling of dry leaves. In a slow silent breeze. Dust and past, future lost in a twisted contrast. Breathing in mankind, through my mind. Grasping my memories failed attempts to be enshrined. Dirt and skin cracked and bled, screaming hollow souls lost and dead.
I walk down the lone path, arched doorway looming like a forsaken wrath.
Feel me inside my forgotten life, intestines clenching, turning, burning, inner strife.
Rusted distortion of stones making faces, reflecting flashing dreams of times and ancient places. Your flesh folds with atmosphere, wispy embraces. Nothingness flows and leaves no traces. No more loss, tired and worn slowly step across. No more hope, nothing to hold and nothing left to cope.
This is forever this is the door, words, souls, lives lost in the crumbling stories of lore.
I walk down the lone path, arched doorway looming like a forsaken wrath.
Taking me in, once and for all. Trapped forever, lost in spiritual enthrall.
