What A Day!

by Hannah Mhairi   Oct 27, 2007

What a day when you can't find the sun,
what a day when you're back where you'd begun,
what a day when you feel so depressed,
and the level of nothing is your best.

What a day when friends turn their backs,
what a day when you can't hit the sack,
what a day when nobody knows what it's about
so you end up getting the alcohol and knives out.

What a day when dying is your only hope,
what a day when there's no "decent" way to cope,
what a day when you're bleeding and upset,
and paranoia is making you fret.

So now I ask "the others" to see how it feels,
to look at your life and dig in the heels,
to stare at it all and want to chuck it away,
because this is the life,
I lead every day.

This is for those annoying people at my school (including staff) who think I'm putting on a show, coz if my life was a show I'd only go and see it to destroy it.
