I stand on the corner
Looking around
The sun is shinning
Over the busy little town...

People hurry
To get here or there
But I am just waiting
For a lady so fair...

I look in the distance
I think she is coming
I can feel her presence
My mind is soaring...

A graceful walk
A smile so bright
I know she is close
My heart feels delight...

I'd kiss her
"I love you" she'd say
And those three words

I sense her perfume
She is near
I can feel her touch
To me she is most dear...

I am sorry friends
My angel is here
