I woke up in the middle of the night
traces of tears still wet on my cheeks
my heart ceased to beat
i felt frozen inside
even time itself seemed to hang
suspended then i remembered
still stupefied with what i have done
i had let you go...my world..my joy..
my sun...my moon..
my universe...my life...
why did i ever do that
it's as if i have taken my own life
without you by my side...
