The Night

The moon hidden by the night.
stars shining oh so bright.
i look in your eyes,
and i see the tears from were you cried.
you smile and lay your head on my chest.
i smile and forgot about the rest.
a song comes on and as i sing you say what you feel.
right then and there i made a deal.
i told god that if i could keep his angel were she lays,
i would never leave her in a confused daze.
