To my Savior.

by Juliana Wright   Nov 1, 2007

This is to all the people that have saved me,
My true friends knew they could not let me be,
Seeing me hit rock bottom,
Pulling me out letting me still follow them,
I almost watched my life slip through my own eyes,
Doing the things I now despise,
Into the light I go,
Leaving my life of sin for the glow,
The glow being God's embrace,
Erasing all my weaknesses without a trace,
Saving my life must've really been fate,
I'm just so gracious it wasn't too late,
I no longer see the fork in the road,
I am not blind,
Not letting myself rewind,
Standing up strong and tall,
With your helping hand I'll never fall,
Destiny and fate visited me on that very date,
Because before I was devils bait.
A new day is a new beginning,
Doing what I once loved was singing,
My passion for life is now back,
My good intentions I do not lack,
Away I go now, far and free,
Now that addict has let me be.
I am fully alive.
