A Touch of Romance

by Sarah   Nov 1, 2007

There was a smell of love in the air tonight. Guardian smiled and turned on the romance in his mind. There was a thought. What did love smell like? Like roses and candles and fire. And if you wondered wheat love sounded like crickets cur-ping to summers dusk and hearts pounding and crackles of thunder in an upcoming storm and silence. And going further, what did love look like? Love looked like water dripping slowly down a bay window or it looked like a slow halt in life itself, barley breathing or standing but laying down, snuggled and tucked in two. That was how love smelled and looked and sounded. And tonight - Guardian shoved a hand into the warmth outside the distance - tonight you could almost touch romance.
