Five Seconds Later Lost

by Josh Hopper   Nov 2, 2007

Ill try to make this easier,
stick to what your saying,
I swear to god it's not what it seems,
scream out loud what you think.

Clocks shutting down, times running out,
what makes you think I trust you now?
if it's your choice then make it count,
Five, Four, Three , Two

One last chance to make a stand,
too many things to comprehend,
three less than five, you and I,
for what I want to do in time.

I never said I'd make things right,
making rights not what I do,
if anything at all you took the fall,
leaving it up to me to choose.

I never meant to be, what you said I was.
I never meant to be this way because,
I'm not the detective in the crime,
this tragedy won't have an ending.

Clocks shut down, times run out,
batteries died, no chances found
you made your choice to stick around,
Five, Four, Three , Two

One last chance to make things right,
too many things to keep in mind,
three less than five, you and I,
but no evidence of us to find.
