It's Time To Mature

by DeeEmm   Nov 2, 2007

Sometimes, I will admit, I think you're sort of immature,
But all-in-all you're good, a genuine good-doer.
You annoy me with your lack of morals and how you don't know your importance,
You're nearly 18 so I feel you should act in accordance.

You know the answers in the books yet you still don't know enough,
You need to learn about life and study about the act of being tough.
You're the oldest of your siblings so you need to teach them well,
There's so many things that you could show them and stories you can tell.

I know it might be hard, you struggle with this stuff,
Being responsible and seeing through what it rough.
And more so because you've seen tears but you never really taste 'em,
But you've got the ability to succeed, so many strengths, please don't waste 'em.
