Remember you're her father

by monicaaelyse   Nov 2, 2007

Remember you're her father
when she cannot say your name
because you got up and left us
of our family you were ashamed.

remember you're her father
when in the dark she cries
because you won't even speak
and when you do she hears lies.

remember you're her father
when she grows up just like you
deceiving her way to the top
you taught her what to do.

remember you're her father
when she finally comes home
you've torn her from her family
the only one she's ever known

i know this sounds like another poem on this site... but it's all me
