Concoction

An Angel’s tear breaks her
A silent lover lies
Blood on her wrists prove to her
She was right about all the whispers and lies

She’s covered in blood as she writes in Ink
She’s crazed with love for him
The bullet sounds against her ear drum
As she slowly falls to the floor

There’s murder in her eyes tonight
As his new girl friend calls her up
She cunningly lies and abuses her
As she fakes a smile and says goodbye

The clouds turned gray last night
As she stupidly surrendered to his foolishness
No one know how much she takes
She’s seen so much; but knows so little

She plays this game
A game for two
Every time his words hit her
She spins her web thicker

She knows she has to let go
But she keeps holding on
She can’t feel anything but pain
She’s so young and blind

I can’t help but love you
She whispers into the night
She dances hoping one day
He’ll swear he loves her

Old memories surround her
Yet she still fights them off
She’s living in a world of emotion
And hides in her forest of innocence

The colorful emotions
That she expresses every day

She tries to place the blame on him
