Forever

by Raven Penn   Nov 3, 2007

The glistening water
Radiating under the luminous moon
the droplets fall, crashing into the still water
Shaking it, shattering it causing the ripples
The mirrored moon waving on the small tremors
Back at its full self

So clear, yet so clouded
So attracting, yet so repelling

More droplets fall
The image is tainted
But the glow still remains
The reflection warped yet still waving at its true self

The sweet, the sour
The light, the dark
The good, the bad
There is only the moon
The stars
And the lake
Nothing more
Nothing less
But thats all thats needed
The are whole
part of each other
reflecting the other

Which is the true night sky?
Is there a fake?
Is the lake a mere gateway, from hell to paradise?
If so....
Then i hope i can forever gaze into the water and...
The night sky.
