Life's Lie

by oddi tea   Nov 7, 2007

Blurring images
Flying by
Wishing that I
Would give them a try

Leaving no trace
For someone to find
It is nearly as if
I was one of a kind

So you see,
It wasn't really fair
I was so perfect
Like you wouldn't dare

You stared at me
With your lustful eyes
There was nothing in you
That I could despise

So we went out
A couple of times
Soon I forgot
To watch out for the crimes

It was little things
That made me tick
Now he had me coming
With a little flick

So later on
That life could see
Now I was too far in
And could never be free

I tried to run
With all my might
I really tried
I put up a fight

Now I am running
Away from me
To find anything
To help me see

The blurring images
That just fly on by
Now I wish
I had given one of them a try
