The Crash (True Story)

by Im Not Emo   Nov 7, 2007

Driving down the gravel road
Not a worry, Not a care
Rolling down the windows
The wind blowing our hair

Cruising at a nice speed
Just perfect I might say
Until that turn came
That ruined the whole day

Not slowing down enough
To safely make the turn
Not turning all the way
Causing us to crash and burn

Sliding in the loose gravel
Screeching toward the ditch
Screams in my lungs
Loud and a high pitch

Slowing halfway down
Thinking that its over
But just as we breathed
The whole car tipped over

Slamming in the dirt
The window shield breaking
Thinking that this might
Be my last breath I'll be taking

Soon it was all over
We slid out of the car
Calling 911
We realized how lucky we are

This is a true story, this just happened to me 3 hours ago. Both me and my friend walked away alive and i am so thankful for it.
