A calmness settles deep within,
when I inhale your scent,
when we're skin to skin.
I smile against the beating of your heart,
and the butterflies , they start.
They fly from my toes, and into my core
just as you tighten your arms, to hug me more.
And while we hug, you'll read your book,
while I tickle your sides to catch a quick look.
You'll give it to me, and then I'll stop.
because of the butterflies that again flock.
No need to touch to know love exists,
You'll smile anyway, though
and with a quick kiss,
I'll fall asleep in your arms in bliss.
