Friends

I dated this girl,
Who I thought was the one.
But now I look back,
And I look so dumb.

I looked past her flaws,
But didn't see her clearly.
I thought she was honest,
And I loved her dearly.

But she was a fake,
And all my friends knew,
That she would hurt me,
Once I found that was true.

And I know now,
It was not love but lust.
And in the end,
