An angel without her wings

by Beautiful Disaster   Nov 8, 2007

When we were together you said I was an angel
Your angel until the end of time
But on the fateful day you left me
You tore off my wings
I'm crying here with blood running down my back
My wings are no longer there
You laugh hysterically as you see my pain
Sure my wings will grow back in time
But these wings were only meant to fly to you
You tore them off with your hatred
My make-up is smearing because of my tears
It doesn't even seem like you ever cared.
Good bye, good bye forever my love
You'll never see this angel again
You tore her wings off so now she can't fly anywhere
Now shes an angel without her wings
Just like a butterfly, shes delicate in every way
You took her freedom away
Now she can't escape
Shes like a butterfly trapped in a jar
Just waiting for its death
She will live on but she'll always hate you
i hope you regret tearing the wings off this angel
Because an angel without her wings is like a butterfly trapped in a jar
