Softly, giving...

by Mr Rhee   Nov 9, 2007

There you go again, making me smile.
You really didn't do anything for it,
you just looked my way.
The way you always do.

I love the way you walk up to me,
as though you have a secret to tell me.
You look up into my face, with that cute
little smirk of yours. Your eyes sparkle.
Then you close them, raise yourself up
to me, and kiss me. Softly, giving.

You don't say a word afterwords.
You just smile at me again, a bright one.
God, I love your eyes, just for me.
Then you turn around, take one look over
your shoulder at me, smile, and then you go.

He, he. I just realized I'd stopped breathing.
I swear, the things you do to me, again and again.
I pray this never ends. Never, oh please, never.
I've said before, you are my gift. You are my
blessing. And you are my life.

Love me the way you do. Just...the way
that only you can. Just the way I want.
I will die happy, I think, someday.
I hope I will die happy, as long as it's
in your arms.
In your love.
