Alone in Darkness

by Charlotte   Nov 11, 2007

The night falls in a heavy, suffocating cloak,
cold and alone are we.
The understanding for which you sacrifice yourself flares once, then dies,
devoured by madness.
all hope must surely perish.

Your love is no more.
how could you cause such hurt?
our dark emotions surround us, crying,
we have lost our light.
