Sprinkled Cornucopia

by Laura Lamarca   Nov 13, 2007

Passe policies etched in echoes
of ebony, within closed copse of
consecrated care, where efficacy emulates
enervation's plight, upon greenery's
fronds saturated in sprinkled cornucopia.

Each vesicle inscribed with determination
to splash and splotch as pabulum to soil,
orating tribulation of corpulent dolor
as cells of soul, embedded to flourish.

Hoisted from loam, to bounty embrace in
lambency of luminescence, as sorrows subside
to moil for mark atop canopy's caress,
and success crowns sanctity in survival
upon scions of soothed renewal.
