Letting go

by Iola   Nov 14, 2007

Saying goodbye and letting go
Your fingers are slipping through mine
How much I loved you, you'll never know
Forgetting our passionate crime

A love affair molded in gold
From they day my eyes looked into yours
Don't want to live with "I told you so"
Don't want you to cause my divorce

Saying goodbye and letting go
Of the only love I ever got to know
How much I need you, I miss you so
Surprised at what life sometimes throw

A passionate affair filled with blissful days
God only knows how you made me feel
Please try to forget what we both still crave
Your love made this life so very real

Saying goodbye and letting go
Of the One who loved and made me fly
How you cherished me, you loved me so
It's over and I'm saying goodbye...
