In my city by the sea
I made it here for you and me.
When the world gets tough
And its dry on love.

You can run away with me
To our city by the sea
We'd go dancing in the sand
Just like the waves and the land

Yes, we'd run away
When the world is gray
But they would never know
When we went or where we would go.

When nothing here is black and white
There's no passion left to fight
Come and swim among the reed
When your hearts been ripped

And you've been left to bleed.
We'd run away when the world got phony
If only, if only.
