The Most Beautiful Gem

by grim   Nov 16, 2007

Ever since I met you
That one heated night.
My heart lost complete control
On what lingered in sight.
The most prettiest gem
That the earth's ever made.
You sparkled with sublimity
And sent my soul on a crusade.
I can't help the way
my heart thumps so wildly.
On the vast thoughts of your image.
No matter how mildly.
The way you danced on the floor
With passion poured into every step.
The blistering emotion that kidnapped me,
Comprehension for this, I could get.
I know how this would sound.
Completely out of line.
But the course had to be taken
And believe this is no lie.
I envy the man who gets to hold you
and cuddle you when you cry.
The one who tends to your needs
I'm terribly envious of that guy.
I wouldn't dare say you haven't any.
Not a flower as lovely as you.
Such a thing is bound to be rare.
So my chance are so few.
But, still I needed to say
All that I have said.
For I think you had to know
You're the world's most beautiful gem.

:). Don't worry. I'm not going to start hitting on you. I just wanted you to know that
for as long as I've lived. I've never seen a girl more angelic than the one you are, You don't have to feel obliged to repay the compliment. I'm happy enough just giving it. :)
