Our Fragile Lives

by Ashley Berry   Nov 16, 2007

We are all such fragile things,
That will break oh, so easily.
We don't know what a shame,
We've become.

We know somewhere weakness
are our strength.
We'll die searching to find it.
We won't let ourselves regret.

We are chasing after death.
The blood that stains our hands
Is the wine.

Our lovers bite our lips, and drink
The war from previous years.
Our pain is in our blood,
From previous years.

We try so hard to disconnect our hearts.
We want to put our hearts into a blender,
And watch our hearts spin,
Around to nothing.

We can't make them stay, and
We know we can't.
We are blinded by bright lights, that
Cast a shadow on our tainted lives.

Credit for the title goes to my friend Derek Rice. Thanxs a lot dude . you r the greatest.
