Keeping Up

I've never quite seen it before
That everyone is so far ahead
I stand alone and try to walk
But my soul wont let me move

You all get further and further away
And all I can do is yell
Everyone just turns and smiles
And says I'll catch up some day

But I want to be there with the ones I love
I want to be by your side
But you just keep walking
And look back and smile

I'll never move from this spot
Not because I dont want to
But because I can't
I'm lost in life and can't keep up
