A Silk Purse

by Vince Gullaci   Nov 17, 2007

No matter
how hard I try
I can't make
something
out of nothing.
I juggle the words
highlighted across the sky
hoping no letter
becomes unhinged
its falling
would embarrass me
leaving the poem
meaningless.
I fear
I'll never be able
to shape a silk purse
out of my ear.
