Time Stopped

by Soulful Ensemble   Nov 17, 2007

Its not fair that ive known you for a year,
its not fair that i want you to be near.
I know I love you more than him,
I've know you longer--he's only a whim.

I'm disgusted by your ways,
More and more, day by day.
Time has stopped while I'm in bed,
With my eyes open and you in my head.

Time tortures me, again and again,
I'm so confused under the strain.
When do I get to live out of the rain?
Is There no stopping the train?

Its sick and twisted in a way,
That I have no one to stay with.
I crawl into a hole while your hips just sway--
Enjoy your dancing Mr. Smith,
It wont last all day.

Judas has no faithfulness,
She's fickle and she takes no stress.
When the going gets rough she takes a rest,
And goes to shop for a new dress.

Meanwhile, everything she leaves behind is dying,
And it all crumbles to the floor, sighing
Until its nothing but dust, lying
On the cold hard floor crying..
Until the wind takes it flying.
