I never really realised
That what I did was wrong
I did not wear my seatbelt
And now you both are gone

It was meant to be a time of fun
For us to all enjoy
The holiday of a lifetime
Was all a massive ploy

I could not behave myself
Like I knew I should
I never thought for one second
Now I have lost you for good

I did not really understand
I was just a young child
