I hate this emptyness
This feeling in my heart
Is hard to repress
Since we've been apart

The space in my soul
That you had once filled
Is now void and cold
No longer real

I gave away all my love to you
But I guess it wasn't enough
When you said we were through
It was really rough

How can this emptyness be relieved?

    Really sad poem.
    I enjoy reading it, it made me feel emotional, something that doesn't happen a lot.
    Not the longest or best poem ever but you made me feel and that's the greatest thing there is. (:

    I think the rhyming was just fine...it let out your emotions in a simple way...some really great poetry is very simple...I loved the whole concept & emotion...Nice write!
