Turn of the Key

by Ch!ld~of~Darkness   Nov 18, 2007

Another day passes
he same as every other
I wish something would change
A different ending for the sun

I dread the moon
The memories that it brings
The horror it spreads into my dreams
The morning that it surrenders to

I hate the rising sun
The pain that replaces the night
I know it won't change
Yet I still get up

Too live another day
Walking with my head held high
knowing that soon I'm going to die
Waiting for that moment

I can feel the bruises forming
Before I open the door
How long will it last this time
Maybe they'll forget I'm here

I hate the feeling
that lingers with their fists
Fear cause I know it's not going to end
But glad to know I will stop it all

They'll lock my door
like so many times before
I love the sound of the turning key
Even more so that it will be the last time
