Intrinsically Tempestuous Love

by Soulful Ensemble   Nov 22, 2007

"Whats the point?", she says. Her fingers in a knot. Sitting all alone, she wants
to take a shot. To the head, to the heart, anywhere at all. Her conscience says its
right and its about time to crawl. The boy she knew, he wont be around now, his views
are incongruent. He decided he had better ways to have his time spent, and left her
there to smell his scent and reminisce a deep descent to hell. "Well, is there a way
to circumvent this spell?" she asked herself. But just as her thoughts ran she felt her
forehead swell.

What a headache! Everything is shaking! The skies are on fire and everything is flaking.
How to fix the earthquake? Is there any way? Her blood is cold and she's wound up in the
fray. The sky now turns to gray; she gets on her knees to pray. "Come back, please." She
begs to him. "my heart is empty and has no need to be. My smiles are gone. I have no
source of glee. When I close my eyes its you I see." Curling up into a ball, she
tries to flee. To fly away, she thinks, would be a happy thing to see. But nobody listens
to her pleas.

What a life to lose, what a scene to see. The earth falls apart around her and she doesn't
care to flee. Life never ends, we like to think. But somewhere else the truth is free.
Shes laying down, her head is spinning, and there is no fiction here. She's dying slowly
and her pain just grows and sprees. Hatred springs to life and happiness dies within.
"Is this the life for me?" She asked the tree that grew out of her pain and tears.
"Life is what you make of it. You can get up and live or stay here and plead for your
soul to bleed."

"So i don't have to bleed?" She asked.
"Indeed." Said the tree.
"Now, go on. Be free.

She stood up and took the lead. With sadness in the backseat, she went out to the garden
and planted the new seed. Sitting down, waiting, a plant began to grow with increasing
speed."Wow." She said."This is a new breed. With some pen and paper I will write a new
creed, to represent the goodness of this new deed." Diligently, she got on her knees,
laid down a piece of paper and wrote her new decree." It read:

For all the people who are sad and lonely,
This advice you should receive.
You still have time to change your one and only,
If they're not the one to set you free.

Be aware, of feeling like you need to be
Part of a relationship that is a mockery.
Why don't you try to guarantee
That you live always happily?
That way you'll know that when its through
Somebody loves you and its you.

She giggled at her poetry and stood up and walked away. Into the distance she could see
the sun, golden brown, it seemed, and a bit yellow. She felt the warmth in her heart and
took a vow within herself, to bellow at the things that make her feel alive, and forget
the voices that just make her mellow. With that thought she forgot the fellow.
