Yellow Guest

by Lenny   Nov 22, 2007

A rat-a-tat-tat
Entangled band-aids
Yellow guest enters
Misfortune for the maids

Brings a cushion
Its a fish convulsing
World rearranges
Rubix cube imploding

And the quiver engages
Bodies forced to tango
Fruit from the islands
Paupau, soft mango

Platter of lies
Glisten in juiced mornings
Her spirit has left
But the body is mourning

Fingers of palm
Caress her Sunday best
And our yellow guest
Is condemned to rest.
