In the Mourning

by victoria   Nov 23, 2007

I sat up in bed and looked around
There was a few birds singing but no other sound

I jumped out of bed and tiptoed into the hall
All of a sudden somebody called

Answer it or not I knew if I didn't
Someone in my family would get it

I tiptoed to the phone,it stopped ringing
I listened around but all I could hear was the bird's singing

I tiptoed across the kitchen floor
I let out a sigh and opened the cabinet door

I opened the cabinet and took a good look
I grabbed a big pack of great baked cookies

What?They were all gone
I let out a groan

I turned around to see that obviously
My family had caught me

They had the cookies
