That Feeling.

I've been waiting for that feeling,
the one everyone dreads.
butterflies in your stomach,
and thoughts of them replaying in your head.

when they walk into a room,
your heart begins to race.
when they look you straight in the eye,
all the blood rushes to your face.

you're afraid to say a word,
so scared to do something wrong.
when listening to the radio,
you can relate him to every song.

when watching a romance movie,
you stare off into space.
wishing it could be you and him,
in that exact place.

last year I had that feeling,
and it has soon to be replaced.
because that one guy,
has yet to be erased.
