Sweatpant Stage

by italianrosez17   Nov 26, 2007

Every girl goes though a series of stages in their life.
there's that "sweat pant stage" of a breakup.
There's no moving from the couch on days off,
there's no hugs or smiles anyone can give.
Its just an emtry feeling knowing someone,
once said they could not live without you,
is still surviving.

Its hard getting out of bed in the morning,
as is to fell asleep.
Dragging our feet won"t do much,
it might bring sympathy,
from other girls that felt that way.
But it might also bring strength.

We're all told from our parents, friends, other relatives,
that "he does not deserve you!",
and "you're better off without him!".
Although we might just dusk off the remarks,
and blame ourselves.
The worst thing is,
they are right.
We can live without him, them.
All we need is a little grieve period,
then we once again, rediscover our inner beauty.
The glorious girl that attracted that gloomy boy.
We realize we don't need him.
We've got our pure soul,
and lipgloss.

What else does a girl need?
