Good Man

The lights are on
But no ones home;
And deep down he knows
She doesn't want to be alone.

But how can he love her
When she's locked up inside?
Does he have the strength to love her
If it's too much of a fight?
She wants to know he cares,
He tries to show he does,
But everything he tries
Is never good enough.

And he's losing all focus,
She's slowly fading from his mind,
Soon she'll be forgotten by him,
It's only a matter of time.

Because even though she's hurting,
He needs to feel loved too,
But she keeps pushing him away
With everything she tells him to do.

"Dont tell me that you love me,
SHOW me that you care;
Baby are you listening?
Seems you're never there"

But he's trying so hard!
But she keeps pushing him down,
She's always in his heart;
But she never seems around.

He still loves her,
But is finding it too complicated,
He never thought she'd grow on him,
And become someone that he hated.

Why does she have to hurt him?
Can't she just realise he's a good man.
That's a good question for me,
Because who's guilty for all these things?

Iam.
