If You Only Knew

by Lyndsay Kalyta   Nov 27, 2007

I'm sitting here shaking
Wondering if this is right
I didn't want to say this
But I'm telling you tonight

Your ignorance is hurting me
So I don't know what else to do
It would make everything easier
If you only knew

If you only knew
What I don't want you to know
You'd be able to forgive me
And you're harsh feelings, you'd let go

Be gentle as I tell you
And understand if I cry
Now I'm not sure at all
How I've kept all this inside

Take my hand slowly
I'm fragile at the seams
This is a serious matter
One that I need you to believe

You'd love me a whole lot better
Once I tell this to you
But you'll see me in a different light
Oh, if you only knew
