Always Will Love My Little Girl

by Aingfillyhine   Nov 28, 2007

Before she even came into this world,
I seen her on the hospital screen,
All tightly rolled up and curled.
All I could say is, "I love my little girl."

I held her in my arms so secure.
Then doctor said he wasn't so sure.
My little girl was born with a disease
And just that moment, I prayed, Oh God Please.
Doctor said we could still take her home.
So our family could have some time alone.

And I watched her grow from baby to child.
And i watched her when she first smiled.
I was there when she said her first word.
I was there when she cried like a bird
At night in her crib, i listened to her breathe.
When I had to go to work, I would not leave
I helped her take her first steps.
I helped her up when she took her first fall.
I always will love my little girl.

I watched her grow up from child to teenager.
I watched her learn from her stupid mistakes.
I told her I love her and all that she makes.

I picked up the phone when the doctor called.
And i listened to the news he had to tell...
I stumbled to the ground and there i fell.
I cried my tears, as I Lay down on the floor.
But I later grabbed my keys, and opened the door.
I drove to the hospital, to see my girl.
And I looked at her, so precious like a pearl.
All that I know...
Is that I ALWAYS WILL LOVE MY LITTLE GIRL.
