Surviving Suicide

by Victoria   Nov 28, 2007

Wrists bleeding
Adrenalin high
As you lay in the tub
Feeling like you'll die
No one cares
About what happens to you
So just lay back
Let me take you through
The pain, the pain
Is all you feel
You can't go back
This isn't a drill
As blood seeps
Right through your skin
The lights flicker
And start to dim
You hear voices
And a door slam
Yet you let yourself go
With out giving a damn
They say close call
As you open your eyes
Searching to find
Your mothers cries
Look at your wrists
Now shake your head
Look at the cuts
From where you bleed
Its all over now
But what I don't get
Is why God
Won't let you quit
And leave this place
We all call earth
Where someone might
Just, might give birth
To a child with problems
That might be the same
Help them keep their life from flowing down the drain.
