Silence

Silence
is when there's no way to say what you need to
and no way to show the real you
cause in these moments no one knows the stuff that your going through

so you stay quiet in your own little world
absent minded you don't say a word
afraid that if you speak you won't be heard

now your just sitting there staring into space
cold and alone in this horrible place
face pressed against the desk thinking that you must be such a disgrace

The days half passed
and you keep holding onto the past
hoping that you can let go but in reality you know it will last

then people ask why are you so quiet?
and you just respond that your tired
because you just don't want to be bothered

you feel so much weight upon your shoulders
you try so hard not to show it
so unbarebly hard to keep from folding
it's unbeleivable how much your remembering
wanting a way out without sharing
knowing that you nor your words have no bearing

The days almost over from dawn to dusk
you can't get any sleep but you know you must
finally you drift off but with such a head rush
because sometimes it feels like there's no one you can trust

Your asleep now, your left alone finally
but then you wake up
you heard screams
but it was all in your head
said, silently

*Closing Notes*
This may be true
or maybe not
but it leaves you blue
this was never part of your plot

(this was written for a poetry club at school and those closing notes saying may be true or maybe not because no one really sees the real me and if they think this was about me and was surprised i wanted to make it sound either way so when they ask i can say what i want to) (its just hard to explain but this is 100% me for you people reading...)
