I said to myself -
I'll paint what I see
What the lily is to me.

Some frown upon
My crimsons and vermilions
Looking down upon
My reverie

But the lily is life,
And I paint it in a rainbow hue
For I said to my self -
I'll paint what I see
What the lily is to me
and this to me is you.
