Left Unfinished

by Sorefromreality   Dec 17, 2007

Slowly cracking,breaking
Trying too hard, taking
too much time, Faking an honest lie
Never laying, it all down,
Fall to your knees, hit the ground
hard, But not as before
When everything, was worth so much more

Push your luck, one more time
Trying to get lost, within your mind.
Don't stop now, you might just make
it worth the fall.
Pick yourself up, you've lost it all

I love the rhythm throughout this poem, it makes it easy to read and flows fluently. The rhyme, although basic, it works well within this piece and although this is short, it says a lot. It tells a sad story of a person that I'm sure a lot of people can relate to. Well done, nice to see you writing again. :]

    Much love,
    Tammie.
