Poem For My Love...

Mended into Forever

A broken and shattered heart,
Thought to never love again.
Has once again been mended,
By love more than of a friend.

Pieces glued back together,
And kissed to make it glow.
Now safely it belongs to the one,
Who loves me more than I may know.

And so now I will take your heart,
In return to keep for myself.
As I promise to stay with you always,
For in sickness and in health.

There is no way to explain these feelings,
But true as blue they stay.
So I know that I will love you,
Forever and today.

And now that I have you for myself,
